Many thanks for your thoughtful and probing response to my review of your excellent systematics. Because I too, with you, am in a continuing quest of better understanding of the gospel, I want to offer some thoughts after reading your response.

You are certainly right that trying to understand Jesus' cry to God from the cross is very difficult and that our language about this "lacks a certain precision." Nonetheless, we have to keep trying and hopefully, with God's guidance, try to understand more deeply.
